I really enjoy Open Evening because it allows us to show off the school and all the development that has occurred in the previous year; the irony is that to the untrained eye, the most obvious differences are the physical developments, but actually if you look below the surface you can see the human capital development as well. Evenings like that demonstrate the progress we have made at Marshalls Park in recent years.
The biggest fascination this week has been the students watching the diggers go to work on the new build; I am naïve when it comes to construction, and I really hadn’t realised how deep the hole would be!
